Carbon X 2 takes it one step further. With a lighter and softer midsole, the shoe will feel even more protective, while the response persists. One-layer engineered mesh in the upper part feels light and soft, breathes well and keeps the foot in place. New heel cap makes the shoe more stable and the pul tab allows you to easily take the shoe on and off, while being gentle on the Achilles.
Between the layers of foam there is a carbon plate - this stiffens the step from landing to kick-off. Something that gives a good response to the surface and the progress occurs. An important update in this version is the placement of the carbon plate. It is placed further down in the sole, which gives the shoe increased comfort, and you camouflage the plate, while at the same time doing the job in the kick-off.
The outer sole consists of a rubberized foam that provides good contact with the ground and an efficient stride development together with the carbon plate. Carbon X thrives best on fine surfaces such as asphalt, treadmills and tartan. Gravel and sharp stones will wear hard on the sole. The Carbon X 2 is an excellent shoe for long training sessions and races, on asphalt and other fine surfaces. It comes into its own most at distances from half-marathon to 100km.
