Edition #4 of Mach came as a breath of fresh air in the spring of 2021. Then we got the Supersonic edition as a clear stepping stone to the new model. A fusion of the best of Mach 4 and Mach Supersonic was exactly what we wanted. Mach 5 is the love child you will love. Light in weight, soft and responsive top layer in the midsole and an upper so silky smooth against the foot that you won't believe it!

The midsole has been upgraded from PROFLY to PROFLY +. This feels soft, but also gives a lot of spring in the kick-off. A combo we can like! And we definitely do! A touch softer throughout than the forefoot, which creates a safe landing and an effective kick-off.

The upper part is a vegan engineered jacquard mesh that is breathable and incredibly soft against the foot. No seams or pressure points that cause discomfort. The tongue is flat and anatomically designed with cushions that provide comfort when you tighten. It is attached to the shoe and provides a very good foothold. The full part is anatomically designed to spare the Achilles.

If you are going to have a training shoe from HOKA, the Mach 5 is a natural choice. This shoe will do the job no matter what. Long leisurely walks, the short morning jog or longer interval runs on good ground. This works like a charm!
